Thb Duke of Edinburgh. —A telegraphic message from the Colonial Secretary wasi received bv his Honor the Superintendent on Saturday last, inquiring whether it was wished that the Duke of Edinburgh should visit Nelson, and saying that it was expected he would be able to do so early in April. The reply returned by the Government was in the affirmative, coupled with a wish that the Governor will accompany the Prince, The question of the Prince s visit being now settled, the Reception Committee should lose no time in taking measures to arrange for his Royal Highness’s entertainment, —hxa uuer. t
