(Sobernmcnt Notices. PROCLAMATION. Bx His Honor 'William Henry Eyes, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand. IN accordance with the provisions of Clause XYII of the Education Act, Session XL, No. 4, I hereby appoint a meeting of the Ratepayeyers of the District of Blenheim, on Saturday, the 30th day of January, instant, at noon, for the purpose of electing three resident householders to be the Local Committee for the said District, under the said Act. Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Marlborough, at Blenheim, this eighteenth day of January, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine. W. H. HENRY DODSON Will Sell by Public Auction, at his Sale Room, Alfred-street, Blenheim, ALL THAT piece or parcel of LAND situate and being in the Province of Marlborough, in New Zealand, and being part and parcel of Section No. 5, Omaka, on the Government Plan of the Province of Marlborough, bounded on the South by -a straight lino commencing at a point on the East boundary line of the said Section, and being on the Northern side of the termination of George-street, in the Town of Blenheim, in the said Province, and extending Westerly twelve chains, or thereabout, parallel with the continuation of Highstreet, in the said town; thence on the West by a straight line extending Northerly (parallel with the Eastern boundary line of the said Section), to the continuation of High-street; thence on the North by the Southern boundary of the continuation of High-street, to the said Eastern boundary of the said Section ; and thence on the East by such boundary line to the point of commencement.
