Gentlemen, —Having been requested by a number of the Electors to allow myself to be nominated as a CANDIDATE for the vacant seat at the BOARD of GOVERNORS of the NELSON COLLEGE, I beg to inform you that I have consented, and now place myself in your hands, and should you see fit to elect me, you may rely upon my doing my utmost to promote the varied interest of so important an institution as the College.
