NOTICE is hereby given, that an application has been made to his Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand by John Good all, in the Colony of New Zealand, praying for the grant to him, the said John Goodall, of Letters Patent under the seal of the said Colony, for the exclusive use, enjoyment, and advantage of a new invention of a machine called “A Conoid al Reducing and Amalgamating Pan,’’ for the purpose of saving gold and quicksilver. And Notice is hereby given, that "any person who may wish to prefer any objections to the granting of such Letters Patent is hereby required, within four calendar months from the publication of this notice, to send to the office of John Boyle Bennett, Esquire, Registrar-General, at Wellington (being the person appointed for thdt purpose under the provisions of “ The Patent Act, 1860 ”), a statement in writing, showing the grounds of such objection, and subscribed with the proper name and address of the person so objecting.
