M‘Donnell proposes an immediate attack, and then resigning. No confirmation these. rumors ; yet. • ' Some natives, at WMkanae, have commanded the half-caste children of one, Jenkins to be given up to them, and on his refusal, burnt the adjoining premises to Jenkins’ house. Dr. Eyans, one of the original settlers, and formerly legal adviser to the New Zealand Company, died on Wednesday last. In the Assembly, Mr. J. O’Neill has. proposed the consolidation of all revenue', territorial or otherwise.
