| On the 11th July, at Clifton, Awatere, William
John Burns, eldest son of Mr. W. Smith, aged 7 years. On July 19th, at Clifton, Awatere, Arthur, youngest son of Mr. W. Smith, aged 2 years. On the Bth August, Alice Lockley, eldest daughter of Mr. John Bagge, Chief-Postmaster, Blenheim, of diptheria, aged 12 years and 2 months. On the Bth August, Alfred Henry, sonpf Mr. J. Bagge, of diptheria, aged 7 years KT'months. On the 9th August, of diptheria, Rose Edith Mary, daughter of Mr. J. Bagge, aged 2 years and 3 months. On the 10th August, at Woodbourne, Ellen Elizabeth, eldest daughter of H. Godfrey, Esq., of diptheria, aged 12 years.
