I THE COMMISSIONER of Crown 9 Lands for the Province of Marlborough, do hereby give notice, that at noon on Saturday, the 27th day of June next, the Allotments of Suburban Land, Rural Land, and Pasture Land, set forth in the Schedule hereunto annexed, will be put up to Auction and offered for Sale by public competition, at the Survey Office, Blenheim, in this province, at the upset prices mentioned in the said Schedule, in accordance with the provisions of “The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867,” Ten per cent, of the purchase money must be deposited at the Sale, and the remainder within one month, or the de posit forfeited. N accordance with the provisions of The Education Act, Session XI., No. 4, it is hereby notified that Mondax, the 'ifteenth day of June, 1868, between the [hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., is fixed for the 'payment of the Household Rate of Twenty I shillings, for the year 1868, to be paid to I the Schoolmaster or such other person as I may be duly authorised to receive the same, ■ at the School House in each district respectively, throughout the Province of Marlborough ; and notice is also given, that legal proceedings will be taken for the recovery of any rates not then paid.
