Sir, — Will you be good enough to inform me whether State Aid is given to any religious denomination by the New Zealand Government; and if so, which denomination?—Yours, &c., Havelock, May Ilth. A. Cochrane. [No State Aid is given, nor wotild a proposal of the kind be likely to meet with the support of the country. —Ed. M.E.J
