DIED.

On the 24th January, 1868, after a long and painful illness, Anne Hughes, the beloved wife of Mr. W. Picton, of the Plough Inn, Lower Wairau. Aged 34 years. She died much respected, and her loss will be deplored by all who knew her. (Home papers please copy). The Funeral will take place To-Morrow, (Sunday), the 26th instant. The friends of the deceased will please accept this invitation. The remains will leave the Plough Inn at one o’clock p.m.
