The Havelock Steam Sawmill Company (which although carrying on its operations in Marlborough, is a Nelson company) has imported into Nelson the following quantities of timber ' October 7. —20,000 feet, per Augusta. 23. —15,000 ~ „ Pelorus. 28.—11.000 "" Venture. 22- 3,000 „ „ Necromancer. November 6. --9,000 „ „ Harriett. 6—10,000 „ „ Waitohai. 13.- 29,000 „ Three Sisters. 13.— 12,000 „ „ Venture, 15.-22,000 „ Alert. 20.-18,000 , „ Mazy Louiss. 22.-20,000 ~ „ Mount M *Laren. 25;—12,000 „ „ Necromancer. 27- 11,000. „ , v Venture. 28. -10,000„ „ Harriatts Total, 202,000 feet of timber, and ten vessels en- - gaged in the trade.— Colonist.
