The sports of the day concluded, I was exceedingly pleased to notice how well every person conducted themselves, and they seemed thoroughly happy. Nothing happened to disturb the harmony of the visitors, and every one left in good humor, even to our worthy policeman. Host Shepherd deserves great credit; the arrangements were excellent the provisions good and plentiful. I think none regretted their visit to the sports at the Big Bush.
