WAIKAKA SPORTS.
The sports at Waikaka came off as advertised, and were a decided success. A considerable number, of people were present, and each event, although the prizes given away were not very high, brought forward quite a large number of competitors. Messrs J. Ballantyne, Smith and Day conducted everything most efficiently, and appeared to give every satisfaction. Following are the different events : —
