Prince, the champion sire of New Zealand is a bright bay ; sire, Prince Charlie (imported) j dam, Princess Maude First. Prince has gained many first prizes in Victoria, and his stock cannot be surpassed. He also took first prizes at the Waikouaiti and Shag Valley Shows of 1872 and 1873 ; also first at the Blueskin Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show, 1873. Prince has an excellent temper, immense bone, superior action ; is a sure foal getter, and is acknowledged by competent judges to be the best Clydesdalebred horse in the colony.
