ANY Person may appoint the Public Trustee executor' and trustee under his . will or cedicil. ; Any present trustee may transfer the management of trust pioperty to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trusts attaching thereto. Any person, company, as sociation or public body within or without the colony, may place ) any property belonging to them in charge of ) the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses ) as may be defined in the deed creating the j trust. - Any building, land, or friendly society may by its rules provide that property belonging > to it may be placed in the Public Trust Oifice 5 for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. The advantages offered are : — Ist. States Guarantee against speculation, fraud, or dishonesty. 2n All proposed iuvestments are con- „ sidered by a Board, consisting of the Honorable Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney-Genera the Comptroller and Auditor- General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered is therefore ensured. 3rd. The Public Trustee in his corporate Capacity KEVEK DIES, NEVER LEAVES THE COUNTRY, AND NEVER BECOMES INCAPA6Itated, thus avoiding tne' many inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of Trustees, necessitated by death, i change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmity. 4th. Punctuality and promptitude in the I remittance of periodical payments to bene- ! flciaries under trust or will to any part of the colony or elsewhere at which it may be de> sired that payr^nts should be made. sth. Reasonable charges— On estates such are now being considered the Public 1 Trustee is authorised to charge 1£ per cent. , on all receipts, and 1£ per cent, on disbursements, and ss. per cent, on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamp and property ax returns, nor for correspondence however voluminous. Thus the saving to estates , placed in this office is considerable.
