Any person, company, as sociation or public . body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be denned in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may by its rules provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Office for such trusts and us'js and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules, I The advantages offered are : — Ist. State Guarantee against speculation, fraud, or dishonesty. 2n All proposed investments are considered by a Board, cons-istiiig of the Honorable Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney- Genera the' Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. The Public Trustee in his corpjrate capacity never dies, never leaves the COUNTRY, AND NEVER BECOMES INCAPASITATED, thus avoiding the nany inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of Trustees, necessitated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmity. 4th. No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing, stamp and property ax returns, nor for correspondence however voluminous. Thus the saving to estates placed in this office is considerable. !
