I'Ot THE EDITOR. Silt,— l was going to write you a letter on this subject,- but I have just ascertained that all the larrikins connected with your paper have signed the opposition petition. I can scarcely credit this. Please say if it is the case ; for, if they are still in. a salyable state, as the Eev. Mr Gillies would say, I will send you some rational reasons why the cap. tain and his lady, and the little hallelujah lass should ha..ye a fair hearins; on the Main road. — I am, &c, War Cry.
