A letter was received from Headmaster Neill, pointing out that no repairs to the schoplhouse had been executed sine© its erection eight years ago ; that it was in need of such, and of some extension to make it a 1 school residence suitable for so important a place as Gore had grown to be. — It was agreed to transmit the letter to.the Board, endorsing the reasonableness o£Mr JTeill's request. An account from IMr Esther — 10s 6d for a prize book — was authorised to be paid, in respect the committee had. received funds from the outside for the The Ghairman.and Mr Dolaporp were appointed a subcommittee to mrike f arrangements .. regarding- sanitary^jnattei* in connection with the : ; school buildings, and Messrs Gardner and Eldred were appointed a visiting committee of the school for the |ensuing three months.
