NO SHOUTING.
TO THE EDITOR. ,si Ri — There are many combinations of in livid mils in Gore and other parts of the world having for their object either total abstinence or moderate use of alcoholic liquors. One evil hus occurred to me — that is, the system of " shouting." Can a •' Nonshouting Society " not be formed ? I believe a great number of the inhabitants of and about Gore would gladly join it, and perhaps it would do more good to the temperance cause than ever the Blue Ribbon Societies and the Salvation Armies suspect or have calculated upon. — I am, etc., Whisky.
