Tho annual parade of entire horsea under the auspices of the Ma-aura P. and A. Society was held yesterday at Wyndham. Tliere was not so good a show as might have been expected, but probably the paucity of the attendance was owing to the short notice given. Mr Jno. Mitchell, of the firm of Oarswell, White and Co., who happened to be present, kindly officiated as ring -master and performed his duties in his well-known genial and humorous manner. The following horses were exhibited : — SCOTLAND Yet.— This nuggctty horse is rising sis. years old, and is by the now famous Prince of Wales. He is a dark bay, and has fine short hairy legs and black points all round. This Southland bred horse should be a favorite in the distiiet, as his blood is unexceptionable. The next shown was Lord Clyde. He is a bright bay •_ yearold. He looks in good fettle and should be a good sire. King ov the Ring was next shown. This horse, though ten years old can give points to all comes in the way of ancestry. His pedigree is undeniable, and he shonld be in request among the settlers in the Wyndham district. General Grant was the next trotted along. This horse is rising 5 year old. At present he shows a little too much daylight but probably time will thicken him down. He comes on the female side from the locally well-known mare Bell, who took the first prize the only time she was shown in New Zealand. The new horse Sir COM2. PRINCE was next trotted out. He shows goad action generally. He appears to be well got, his sire being Prince, who has returned to Mrs Ninuno of j. tho Taieri more than £1500 worth of stock in last season. Next came the blood hor.e_. The first shown was the old horse Buzz akd. He was offered for sale after the parade but was not sold. Next came MA-ii-LUiCJ-. The son of King Philip looked in good £etll_. and s-jjiould throw some good stock this 'season iff tlje district where he intends to tlav.}7 ; , ■ W The last horse was the _I-__tm.fr Tor- ■__.___>..
