The ' Herbal Extract ' is the finest and most delicate tonic procurable for use in General Debility, Indigestion, Oonsumptioa, Decline 4c. ft irvbera of invalids who cannot take quinine or steel, can take the ' Extract ' with most favorable results. The ' Herbal Extract ' is a sure preservative of health, if taken regularly every morning, in hut, unhealthy or tropical climates, preventing the appeoach of any of the above mentioned diseases. Herbal Extract, I find it, to be a skilfully prepared vegetable preparation, po sessing the propei tits of the plants from which it ie derived in a highly concentrated state, a fact which I have verified by evaporating a fluid drachm' placed in a watcbglass over a spirit limp. On weighing the result, a dark green extract, I found the weight to be 14£ grs. On founqitto be rich in tannin. In a large numV r sh cases of ordinary diarrhoea, as well as in .SJany chronic cases and in ysentery, I have proved it to possess treat specific control, ;dded to the unusual feature in a mnjotity of ditirrhoea medicines, that it does, not subsequently constipate the bowels. I feel satisfied that from the number of trials I have been ( nn bled to make of it in a somewhat extensive practice, it is v most valuable addition to modern therapeutics. The following cases are, taken at random from my no'e-book: —Case. No 1 ; Mrs M , West Eyerton, suffering: for two years from Chronic Dysentery, which hod reduced her almost to a skeleton.
