I quote town flour iv sacks, £10 fis ; 1001 b bags, £10 10s ; und 50's, £10 15s. Country brands rather under these piices. Oatmeal.— £ll to £11 10s per ton. Wheat. — The demand during the week has been rather more active, but there is no improvement in prices to report. ' Prime milling commands readily from 4s 2d to 4s 3d ; inferior and medium, 3s 9d to 4s. Fowl feed is saleable at from 2s 6d to 3s, and, best quality probably as high as 3s 3d. Oats. — During the week there haa been active inquiry, and prices are firm at last week's quotations — viz., prime milling at ls lid to 2s ; bright short feed, ls 9d to ls lOd j inferior and discolored, ls 7d to ls Bd. There ia still some demand for seed parcels, and any clean lota sent in now would sell at good prices. parley. — I have inquiries for prime samples of malting, which would fetch at least 4s 6d. Milling sores are not in demand, and prices nominally 3s Cd to 3s 9d. Feed almost unsaleable. Potatoes.— Stocks on hand are getting reduced. I sold in the early part of the week at £2 5s (bags extra), but since then the demand is rather better, and I believe as high as £2 7s 8-i has been got tor very prime quality. Kidneys for seed are not m such acti"e demand, as the season is getting over. Butter. — There is no alteration in fche market, and large stocks of salted, in kegs, are still held. Chaff. — There is a demand for good oatensheaf chaff at £3 15s to £3 17s 6d at a railway station (bags extra), and I have orders at these prices. Grass Seed.— Very little business has been done, but there is likely to be a good demand very shortly. Machine-dressed parcels of ryegrass may be quoted at 4s 3d to 4s 6d ; farmers' lots, 3s 6d to 3_ 9d ; cocksfoot, 4jd to 5d per lb.
