Fowl feed is not so plentiful, and higher prises are asked, good samples fetching as high as 3s 3d ; inferior and medium, 2s 3d to 2s 9d. Oats.— There is no change in prices to report. There are orders on hand for shipment, but freight not being obtainable, buyers do not care to operate. I quote prime milling, Is lid to 2s ; short bright feed Is 9d to Is lOd ; inferior and discolored, Is 7d to Is 9d. As the seed season is getting advanced, there is hardly the same demand for seed oats, but small lots still move off at good prices. Barley.— The demand is not active, but good samples of malting quality are scarce, and would command 4s tid ; milling is not wanted— prices nominally 3s 6d to 3s 9d; feed neglected. , „ . ir . Potatoes.— There is again a lull in the demand, and I cannot quote over £2 ss, for Derwents (sacks extra). Kidneys are still saleable for seed, and I have sold all lots to hand at £4 108. Chaff.— Good oaten-sheaf chaff fetches from £3 16s to £3 17s 6d at railway station (bags extra). I have no sales to report. Grass Seed. — I have no business to report, although inquiries have been made. 1 quote machine dressed samples of ryegrass, 4s 3d to 4s Cd ; farmers' parcels 3s 9d to 4s ; cocksfoot, 4£d to 5d per lb. Rabbitskins. — I have placed 10 lots to hand at 15id per lb, for mixed winter and summer skins ; present season's would fetch from 16d to 17d per lb ; inferior and suckers, 6dtoßd perlb.
