AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS.
G-UEES & BOUNESS report the following business during the week : On Saturday last they held their usual sale of horses, implements. &c, at their yards, There was a large entry oV h0r.503. They sold*l6 at the following prices : Medium dniUßlits lit for farm work, £15 103 to £24 Ilk ; unbivkcii draughts, £17 to £24; yearlings), £4 16s to &(). Harness as usual sold well. On Monday they held a clearing sale on the farm lately owned by Mr A. E. Mellick, Chatton. There was a s oil attendance of farmers and others. The horses, implements, &£, were first class, and in some cases keenly competed for. There being no reserve, everything sold well. The draught horses were rather small but brought the following prices :— £24, £23 10s, .£2O, jCIB iMo ? loi.Mia*lß. Hack, £9 12s Cd; Samuelson reaper aud binder, £40; drays, £15 an.t £17 ISs; d.f. rlougli, £9; single do, £3; Cambridge roller, A.10; ehau-cnttcr, L 5; oats, 63 per sack. All the odds and ends about the place sold et full value. Green and Souness also report the sale of. Mr Mellick s farm at Chatton to Mr Peter Pisken, of Chatton, at L 5 Is per acre. This is generally looked upon aa a good PU CM'eon'nnd Souness wish to draw attention to their pah; o£ merino ewes on Saturday. These arc from the OUnia station, and will be sold without reserve.
