STOCK REPORTS.
Messrs Cwswell, White and Co. report having held a clearing sale at the Pine Bush yards on 17th inst., when'olose on 2000 sheep and 30 head of cattle were yarded. There waß an average attendance [ot buyers, and the bidding for several pens of sheep was spirited. _, The following are the iprices realised for stock sold : —Sheep:, Bo jorpspbred ewes, full-mouthed, Bilodeach; 101 oressbred lambs, 7s 6d ; 104 crossbred wethers, 12s 4d to 13s Cd; 160 full-mouthed crossbred ewes, oui], Bs to 7a 3d ; 102 crossbred wethers, 12s 6d; 31 old ewes* * Ss ; 44 crossbred ewes, 8s fid ; 64 crossbred wethers, 10s lid ; 54 crossbred ewes, 8s 2d ; 26 crossbred wethers, 12s Sd ; 70 crossbred 1 ewes and wethers, mixed, 12s 6d; 91 orossbred lambs, '.7s. Leicester rams brought 60s •aeh. , .Cattle were dull of sale, and only two small lots changed hands' at 64s to 65s eaoh. Privately, we have sold 1000 crossbred lambs at quotations. Mr I. B. Simson reports that during the week ending Slat April he disposed of 1660 merino ewes privately— ISO full mouthed, at 4s 6d ; 1000 do, at 4s 3d.
