Bred by Mi- Woolly. Sire, Major, bred by E. Aiding, Esq., Wiltshire, England. Winner of the iirst prize of L2.'> at the Royal Agricultural Society of England, held at Canterbury, 18th July, 1S(30. He was then purchased by Tlios. Crispc, Esq., and imported to Tasmania, where be won the First Prize at Campbell Town, 18151, for the Best Imported Draught Stallion in the Colony ; and lie won the same prize at tlie Society’s Show, held at Longford, 18(5*2. He was afterwards purchased by 15. Newall, Esq., for the sum of LboO, and imported to Auckland. (band sire, the celebrated horse Boxer, winner of tiie three successive prizes at the Royal Agricultural Society, England, (treat grand sire, Rob Roy, the property of J. Salmond, Esq., Glasgow. His progeny have taken 11 first prizes at Highland Agricultural Shows in Scotland. XINKJET'S dam, Blossom, imported by B. Newall, Esq., and now the property of Gloghoni, Esq. Giaml dam, Sober, winner of the three first piiz.es at the Grand National Show, held in Melbourne. NUGGET took First and Champion Brizes for draught entires at the R.angiti-kci-Manawatu Agricultural Society’s Show, 187(5, and Second Brize in 1577. XUGG JOT'S stock took all the prizes at the Farmer’s Club Foal, Grain, and Root Show, held at Marion, on the Ist May, 1880.
