Crispe, Esq., | and imported to Tasmania, where he won | the First Prize at Campbell Town, 18(>1, j for the Rest Imported Draught Stallion in | the Colony ; and he won the same prize at the Society’s Show, held at Longford, 18()2. He was afterwards purchased by R. Newall, Esq., for the sum of LboO, and imported to Auckland. Grand sire, the celebrated horse Boxer, winner of the three successive prizes at the Royal Agricultural Society, England. Great grand sire, Rob Roy, the property of J. Salmond, Esq., Glasgow. His progeny have taken 11 first prizes at Highland Agricultural Shows in Scotland. NUGGET’S dam, Blossom, imported l>y B. Newall, Esip, and now the property of Glcghorn, Esq. Gland dam, Sober, winner of the three first prizes at the Grand National Show, held in Melbourne. NUGGET took First and Champion Prizes for draught entires at the Rangiti-kei-Manawatu Agricultural Society’s Show, 1 ST(>, and Second Prize in 1877. NUGGET’S stock took all the prizes at the Farmer’s Club Foal, Grain, and Root Show, held at Marton, on the Ist May, ISSO.
