Entrance, 10s; Ist prize, Lf> ; 2nd, LI. 17. —Frisk Handicap.—A sweepstakes of LI with Lf> added. Open to all horses. Distance, onro round the course. Dost entry. A Champion Cup will be awarded to the person scoring the greatest number of points in the 100yds., 440yds., and Half-mile, and the Hurdle Foot llaces. Ist place to count three points, 2nd, two points, and 3rd one point. In the event of two or more persons tieing, the tie to be run of on a course of 200yds. from scratch. REGULATIONS. The Marlborough Racing Club Rules to be strictly adhered to. Nominations to be made to the Secretary in writing by 8 p.m., on December sth with entrance money enclosed. Weights of Handicap Hurdles and Wairau Plate and handicaps in Foot Races to be declared on December 12th. Handicaps for the Flying Stakes to be declared immediately after the Wairau Plate is run, and for the Sporting Handicap immediately after the Flying Stakes. Acceptances and general entries close at 8 p.m. on December 19th. Anyone going off the mark before the pistol is fired, to be put back one yard for each attempt. The second horse to save his stake where no second money is given. No prize given unless two competitors start. No second unless three start. Owners of starters in 'Hurdles, Maiden Plate, Wairau Plate, Flying Stakes, sporting Handicap, or anyone erecting a booth on the course, to pay a qualification fee of LI.
