Griffiths, and J. H. Redwood. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. A letter was read from the Nelson Gun Club, stating that after mature consideration they were not disposed to shoot against the Marlborough men for any money prize, but that they would be pleased to meet the Marlborough Gun Club, and shoot a friendly match. The Secretary was instructed to acknowthe receipt of the letter, at the same time expressing regret that the Nelson Gun Club had decided not to accept the challenge of Marlborough Gun Club to shoot for LlOOaside, and that they will be most happy to shoot a friendly match with the members of the Nelson Gun Club, providing they will come to Blenheim. The shooting rules of the Hurlinghnm Gun Club were then considered by the Committee, and after rule 24 had been amended so as to admit of 10 bore guns being used, they were unanimously adopted. It was resolved that the next meeting open with a Handicap Match, and the President was authorized to order an improved wire pigeon trap. The Secretary was instructed to prepare an analysis of the shooting scores made in various matches for the use of the Jlandioappers. The Committee then adjourned.
