AMATEUR INSPECTORS
To THK KIiITOR. —Our new teachers are good nice men, and arc very kind to us. They are kind toothers, too, because sometimes the gentlemen you call the Committee come in and take lessons with us. .Sometime they look at our “ writin ” as they call it, while another hears us “ rcadin.” We children once thought they came to see if the masters did their work, but it can’t be that, because if it was they wouldn’t join in the singing. Mother say it is very nice, for them to come and do this, but vre do wish that funny gentleman that makes the nasty physic for us wouldn’t try to sing, because lie can't do it, and it puts us all out. Sometimes wc think the masters don’t like to be interfered with so much, but wc suppose they can’t help it. Father says it will be different after next January, but I don't know what he means.—Yours truly, A Little Boy.
