A meeting of the Star Koating Club was hold laot night to consider tlie advisability of p instituting an Amateur Sculler’s Cbdtasionship for New Zealand. It was dccpßl the club should take the initiative steps towards accomplishment of this object, and a committee was appointed to draw up proposals which will be submitted to all rowing clubs throughout the colony.
