Nominations in the form of the Second Schedule of the “ Local Elections Act, 1876,” must be delivered o me before noon on the day of nomination. I7RITTEN TENDERS will be ' ' received until 4 o’clock p.m., on Tuesday, July sth 1881, for the CONSTRUCTION of about 7 miles of DRAY ROAD through the Awatere Shearing Reserve. They are to be marked outside “ Tender for Awatere Reserve Road, No. 1 Contract ” or as the case may be, and addressed, “The Chairman Awatere Road Board, Blenheim.” The work will be let in 13 Con tracts, and each Contract must be tendered for separately, and the Contrator must state in his tender the time in which he will complete his Contract. The Inspector will be on the ground on the 23rd and 24th June for the purpose of showing the line. Plans and specification can be seen at Mr C. J. W. Griffith’s office, Blenheim. Wairau Road Board. TENDERS, addressed to the Chairman, will be received until 4 o’clock on Tuesday, July sth, for— FORMING the Wairau Valley Road, from Mr C. Watt’s lower boundary gate to the first angle on the Telegraph line. Specifications can be seen after the 20th June at Mr C. J. W. Griffiths’ office, and Buckman’s Accommodation House, Wairau Valley.
