"YTOTICE is hereby given that all JA persons who have became liable to taxation under the above Act since the Assessment Poll for 18S0-81 was made up, are required to send statements of their property not later than the loth day of June. Persons now on the roll who have acquired further property since the above roll was completed are required to send in statements showing such further property, whether real or personal. J. SPEKREY, Commissioner. Wellington, 16 th May, 1881. Forms can be obtained on application at the Deputy Commissioner’s Ollice, or at any Post Oflicc where there is a Telegraph Station. All persons taxable under the above Act for the year 1880-81, who have neglected to make returns thereunder, are warned that they will be immediately proceeded against for such neglect, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act. Penalty for neglecting to make returns is £IOO and treble duty. 213
