Allen (in the chair), Messrs J. Fleming, C. Gomez, T. Harding, J. Dalziel. P. Lawrence (Treasurer), G. S. Stenhouse (Hon. £47 4 0 The following resolutions were also passed : 1. That the match take place in a paddock of Mr James Dalziel’s Farm, Ren wick Old Road, on Wednesday, June, 15, 1881. 2. The entry fee for each plough to be 2s 6d. 3. Double Furrow Ploughs to plough one acre each. Single, i an acre. 4. The ploughing to be not less than five inches deep. 5. That all ploughs be on the ground at 9 a.m. To start at 9.30 all work to be completed at 2.30 sharp. C. The Judges to be on the ground at 2.45. 7. The prizes to be paid on the evening of the match.
