THE EXPRESS ON EDUCATION MATTERS.

To the Editor,

Sin, —1 do not often see the Express, but this morning a copy of that paper of Wednesday was brought under my notice by a neighbour of mine, who called my attention to what purports to be a report of the meeting of the Education Board on the previous day, and also to a paragraph about the Renwick School. The report seems to be intended to inform the public of what Mr. Henderson and nobody else said, and one would think that Mr. Henderson’s and the Express's educational news was

confined to the Blenheim Borough School, as to which they have a “down,” and tr Renwick which" they “butters up.” Bui there are other outlying places where then are schools which l think have some right jto be considered also. Here at \\ aitohi "t have « nice little school, and there areothei places of the same sort, but Mr. Henderson and his paper, as it seems to me, do hoi care about anything but Blenheim and Renwicktown. “\\ e understand, saj3 the Express of Wednesday, “that Mr. Hodgson will inspect Renwick School to-morrow. We shall look anxiously for the results, and will publish them as soon as possible. This very kin«l of the but why not treat other districts in the same uay and give them a turn. Blenheim and Renwick are not the only places in Marlborough that have schools in which the inhabitants are interested. —I am, etc., A Resident at Waitohi. Waitohi, 4th November, ISSO.
