Taieri is a dark brown colt, rising four years old, and stands 161 hands high, with immense muscular power, good action, and a fine temper. He was shown when 2 years old and took first prize; when 3 years old he took second prize against all ages, at the Marlborough Agricultural Society’s show. Taieri was bred by Mr George Storey, out of Fanny, the well known Prize mare. Taieri will stand at Stevenson and Fraser’s Stables, Blenheim, on Wednesdays and Saturdays ; Wairau Valley on Mondays; through Pen wick on the way back to Blenheim ; Spring Creek on Thursdays ; and Picton Road on Fridays.
