WARDEN’S COURT.
(Before J. Allen, Esq., Warden.) Havelock, Sept. IG. An application for a dam or reservoir was made by Messrs Stapleton and McPherson, Wairau Valley, but there was no appearance of the parties when the case was called on, and it was adjourned. Iu the matter of an application for a water-race by Charles Eves and party, Wairau Valley, an objection was lodged by Francis Goff and Joseph Wise. The decision was deferred until the Warden visits the ground. The following applications were granted : Water-race, Francis Goff ; tail-race, F. Goff; amalgamation, Goff and party. All the above applications were from tho Wairau Valley.
