Jones, and seconded by Mi James Twidle—Tint an annual subscription of 10s (id be paid to the 1 leasuiei in advance, viz., for all active inembeis. Proposed by Mr Johnstone, and seconded by Mr Warner—That an annual fee of os be paid to the Treasurer in advance, viz., for honorary members. —( arried. . Proposed— That a Committee be elected by ballot. The following gentlemen were nominated : - Messrs Adams, HvjitUe, Leader, Jones. Cawte, Brownlee, W . I ic -y erinsr C. Pickering, and J. Johnstone, ot whom the following to form the Committee, were elected :—Messrs 1 widlo, Jones, \V . Pickering. Cawte, and W. Reader. Proposed by the Chairman, and seconded by Mr Johnstone —That the contemplated meeting be held under the Rules of the Marlborough Jockey Club.—Carried. Proposed by the Chairman, and seconded bv Mr Twidlc— That only horses belonging to the Pelorus district, and tlie said horses to he thcpiopertv of the nominator for a period of not less than three mouths, be allowed to run. —Carried. Proposed by the Chairman, and seconded Y, y jir Twidlc—That Mr Thomas Cawte be Treasurer to the Club. Carried.

Muir, on remand for failing to pay for the support of his wife, being in arrears Lll -on the 30th June ; adjourned to 2nd September. 1 oliec y, Robinson, drunk ; fined 5s and costs /s.
