A judgment of some importanco to bankrupts was recently delivered at Fox ton, An insolvent who was summoned for non-pay-ment of rates, put in his certificate of discharge as a bar to the action. The collector, however, showed that no notice of failing had been given to the County Council, and that the amount owing for rates had not been included in the schedule. The Bench gave judgment for the amount with costs.
