WAIRAU ROAD BOARD.

Tde adjourned meeting of the Wairau Road Board was held on the 17th instant, when were present, Messrs Ward (Chairman), Coulter, Avery, Williams, and Kell or. The minub s of the pievious meeting were read and confirmed. Letters were read from Mr A. W ard, re Bank House survey ; the Under-Secretary Public Works, re stoppage of road, W'aihopai district; the Inspector's report and estimate; Mr G. Thoms, re stoppage of road to Greenland by Mr C. Court; Mr W . Sinclair re road to "Mr Joseph Fabian’s: Mr IV. Roberts, re cross road leading to Messrs Richards and Thorn’s: Secretary, < attic Trespass Act and road boundary : Mr .John Barton, re road up Onamalutu v alley: Wairau Valley ratepayers, re Bartlett's vailcv road .; Mr A. Monro, re survey of roa.it through the Narrows; Colonial Treasury', reporting that £313 Ms lid had been paid in to the credit of the Board.
