Dunedin, Jan. 28.. At a Wool sale held by Mr Donald Stronach on behalf of the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Co., to-day, 860 bales were disposed of at satisfactory prices. Greasy cross-breds, Is per lb; merinos, np to Is O&d, Washed descriptions were well competed for, and realised up to Is 6sd for csoss-bred, and Is 7d for merino. The next sglc by the Company is fixed for the 3rd February.

to £l2 ; Oamaru £l2. Sharps 5s lOd, Bran lOd, Oats Is 5d to Is lOd, Potatoes £5 40s to £6 per ton, Maize 4s, Hams and bacdn IOJd to lid iu cloth equal sorts. Laery and Campbell, at their market sale yesterday, sold N.S.W\ cheese at 7d ; N.SW. hams, IOJd ; N.S.W. bacon, 8d ; potatoes, L 4 10s ; onions, iOs ; maize. 3s 9d. Nelson produce—Eating apples, 9s ; cooking apples, 4s 6d to 5s 9d per case; plums. 9s Gd ; mixed plums and peaches, 14s 6d ; mixed pears and plums 10s ; and a half-case eggs, Is Id to Is 2d per doz.
