THE NEW BUILDINGS. Preliminary Steps. As a preparatory step to the crec tien of ihe new technical school buildings in Matamata, a four-roomc !. house, which has stood on the north em side of the reserve in Station road, is in course of demolition. It is being- pulled down and is to be reerected for the purchasers on another section. The timber, consisting of matai and totara, for the new school is already on the site and a start should be made with the building operations in about a fortnight's time Three classrooms and offices will be the first part of the school to be built.
