A very piVUy wedding was solemnised at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, To Aroha, on May 28, tlie contracting parties being Miss Vera Florence Robinson, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Robinson, of Springdale, and Mr. Harry Frost Kciglrtley. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. I l '. Kcightley, of Mataniata. The Rev. R. 1,. Connolly officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a gown of ivory charmeuse, trimmed with side panels and silver girdle, and she wore a beautiful tulle veil and orange blossoms. She carried a handsome bouquet of chrysanthemums. asparagus and maidenhair fern, with streamers of cream satin ribbon, which completed a becoming toilette. She was attended by her sister, Miss Myrtle Robinson, as bridesmaid, who wore a dainty dress of lemon crepe do chine, with black hat and shoes to match, and also by V-r cousin. Miss Jean Niccl, who was daintily attired in a smart dress of shell nink crepe dc chine, with black bat and shoes to match. Roth carried dainty bouquets of lemon and pink chrysanthemums.. Mr. W. Kcightley,brother of the groom, ably carried out the.duties of best man. and Mr. Leslie Robinson, brother of the bride, acted -t ‘as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests wore received at Mr. Lcnnnn’s breakfast rooms, where a sumntuous wedfPim- breakfast was partaken of.
