WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.
J. BATESON AND SON’S EXHIBIT. One of tiie most attractive exhibits at the Waikato winter show this year, especially for farmers, gardeners and floral decorators, is that ol the wellknown Waikato nurserymen, Messrs. J. Bateson and Son. The stand, situated just inside the main entrance—the same as last year—will undoubtedly be the cynosure of all eyes. In the floral department there are several new designs, including “ gates ajar.” This is especially pleasing, being a real artistic effort. It comprises two gates worked in many varieties of flowers with an overhead arch treated similarly. This is an absolutely new work and will well repay a visit by anyone. There are also' the latest designs in weddings bouquets and other floral works. Included in the exhibit is the usual good well-rooted nursery stock, which is well known to be unsurpassed in the province. There is also a great variety of flowering and foliage pot plants. The firm will be pleased to explain anything as regards flowers, hedges, shrubs, etc., and will also give advice as to the required soils ami treatment. Remember that the exhibit is just inside the main entrance.*
