TE POI GO-OPERATIVE DAIRY CO.
SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING. New Factory To Be Built. A meeting of shareholders of the Te Poi.(late Sunny Park) Cooperative Dairy Company was held on Thursday to discuss a proposal, to erect a 10-vat cheese factory.. The chairman of directors, Mr. C. A. Stopford, explained that the adoption of the proposal would mean that next year the company would be in a position to manufacture either cheese or casein. The prospects for the future certainly pointed tpwai'ds butter and casein being best It was unanimously decided that the work be put in hand immediately. It is proposed that the factory be erected of concrete and will cost in the vicinity of £2OOO.
