was responaible for a further death in Matamata on Wednesday, test, the victim being CJara Alice Duxfield, aged thirteen years and nine months, daughter of Mr and Mrs G.J. Duxfield. The young girl i had been ill for about ten days, i i niost oj whioh time she was/in a ' critical condition. The, funeral, which Was largely attended, took place on Christmas Day. The floral tributes: and sympathetic messages to the father, mother, and brothers and sisters were many. .
