A SAD AFFAIR.
An inquiry was held before Mr J. Barr Brown, acting coroner, and a jury on Sunday into the circumstances surrounding the death of a married woman named Alice Perry, of Wellington. Deceased was found drowned in a creek on Saturday morning. She was on a visit to Mr and Mrs S. Harding, of Hinuera. A verdict was returned that deceased met her death by solf-drowning whilst temporarily insane.
