Mrs W. T. Darby, who had been <nra business visit to Auckland, returned to Matamata a few days ago.
Mr G. ,G. Bell returned home from a second period in the Hamilton hospital on Tuesday much improved in health. The Turangaomoana Roll of Honour will be unveiled in'the Turangaomoada halLon Saturday afternoon next. All are invited. The recent rains have promoted a most noticeable growth of grass throughout the Matamata district, and the feed shortage is now prac;tioally over.
