It is reported that Mr B. 0. Robbins, ex-Mayor of Tauranga, intends contesting the Tauranga electorate against the Hon. W. H. Hemes at the next election. Whilst cranking a motor car on Sunday evening, the popular vocaliste, Miss M. Ross, of Walton, sustained a broken arm, through a back-fire.
