Of Matamata County. The following ridinpr balances, prepared to March 14th, n-ere submitted to Matamata County ■council, by the clerk on Friday : Matamata riding— Expenditure £3,487 15s Id, receipts (subsidies, rates, etc) £4058 0s 7d. Patetere riding—Expenditure £4020 2s 4d, receipts £4,529 2s 10d. Putaruru riding. Expenditure £3,325 13s Id. receipts £23614s 3d. Taotaoroa riding.—'Expenditure £767 17s, receipts £l,llO 17s 7d. Maungatautari riding,—Expenditure £930 2s 9d, receipts £896 19s lOd. The amount of rates collected over the county was £11,317 ss.
