MASONIC INSTALLATION.
Tinau Lodge.
There was a large attendance of brethren from adjoining lodges at the Masonic lodge on Thursday night, when the installation of Bro. A. J. Tong, as W.M., and investiture of officers took place. In the absence of the Grand Master, W. Bro. 0. Nicholson, the ceremony was conducted by R.W.W. Bro. M. Harris, M.W. Bro. Powley, R.W. Bro. J. Hope. The following officers were invested :—I.P.M., W. Bro. E. 0. Amoore; D.C., Bro. N. D. Clifford; S.W., Bro. R. G. Southby; J.W., Bro. R. Carruth; chaplain, Bro. A. K. Weeks; treasurer, *W. Bro. W. H. Allen, P.M.; secretary, W. Bro. F. Shannon, P.M.; S.D., Bro. G.G.Bell; J.D., Bro. A. D. Hamilton; 'I.G., Bro. H. E. Nixon; S.S., Bro. E. G. White; J.S., Bro. S.J. Parker 4 tyler, Bro. G. Ti Rollerson.
At the conclusion of the ceremony a banquet was held, when the customary loyal and Masonic toasts were honored.
